KIS Cruiser Completion Photos

Laurie Tuff's ZK-TUF KIS Cruiser - 3/18/2000

One of the really good innovations was to install a duct along the roof (it's visible in the interior shot INTVIEW.JPG) and an extra NACA scoop in the lower fin (also just visible) to provide an overhead fresh air flow to each seat - similar to an airliner. The Cruiser has no opening window or air vent of course and I have already found this air really useful. I did fit the usual scoops on the side but the overhead one's are better.

My first few flights all confirm what a stable plane this is - getting it to stall for instance is almost impossible!!
